1. Development

Our thorough Development process leaves no stone unturned before you commit to a project.

What To Expect:

Scope Of Work
Our proposal will include details of everything included in the project. We outline all the major production way-points, and provide a list of options to be considered during the project.
Quote and Timeline
Expect a quote that breaks down the cost of each major deliverable into their principle components. Break-downs for ongoing costs will be provided should microsite hosting also be included. Payment terms, whether lump-sum, creative-retainer, or progress draw basis, will be clearly laid out.

Timelines are provided in a dynamic format—they are based on the delivery of required material from the customer.

ie. "Project will be delivered 5 weeks after customer approval of asset schedule..."
Required Material
You will know everything we need from you in order for us to get the job started. Construction documents, reference photography, starting deposit, etc... will be itemized so your team can get going immediately.
Next Steps
You will receive a breakdown of your project's trajectory, with the immediate steps in the following days clearly broken down for easy prioritization.

2. Pre-Production

We consider Pre-Production the most crucial phase of every project. We lay out each aspect of production on the most granular level possible. Get ready for the emails...

What To Expect:

Building Plans
We review with you the construction documents to be used in the project. Further drafting will be done by our team if necessary to ensure there is complete clarity in what is to be captured in 3D.
Content Mapping
Camera Positions are considered, reviewed, and approved for every rendered shot to ensure an intuitive user experience and clarity on staging requirements. Furniture and accessory placement is reviewed.
3D Model(s)
Our Modeling team gets to work building the 3D environments based on the approved building plans and content maps. Ancillary modeling, such as exterior landscaping and outbuildings, is also completed.
Asset Schedule
We guide your team through our extensive asset library to outfit each scene with complimenting furnishings & accessories.
Draft Photography
We provide working shots of each scene, fully modeled, for your review and approval. adjustments and reworks are done as necessary prior to staging and rendering

3. Prroduction

With the scene set and the actors in place, it's time to roll cameras! This is where the pre-production pays off, and where the bulk of the heavy lifting occurs for your project.

What To Expect:

Scene Staging
Each scene is carefully staged to reflect the look and feel you are wanting to achieve. Texturing is applied to all surfaces, and lighting is adjusted to achieve high-fidelity results.

Low resolution draft images are provided for lighting/staging approval prior to principal rendering.
Principal Rendering
Our studio computers get to work. We call it "cooking the renders". High-fidelity and photo-realistic rendering can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 12 hours per image depending on their complexity.
Interactive UIs
We begin programming the interactive User Interfaces. We wire the scenes for room-to-room navigation, and optimize the parameters for mobile/desktop experiences.
Supporting Content
Supplemental content, like navigation maps, graphics, and icons, are developed and prepared for post-production efforts.

What To Expect:

Color Correction
Any color correction needed from principal rendering will be done in Photoshop. Digital blemishes and minor oversights will be corrected.
Interactive Platform Integration
Rendered Images are keyed into their interactive platforms. Imaging is broken into multi-resolution layers for optimized user load-times and cross-device functionality.
Reshoots
Any major blemishes or studio oversights are corrected in the 3D model and affected shots are re-rendered.
Microsite Template
Content is uploaded into one of our Micro-site templates. Each Micro-site is reviewed and approved.
